Chicago's Pizza Plainfield

We had such a good lunch. We did pickup and it was so easy. It was very busy in the dining room. Employees were very nice. Love this place

This place does a great job. The lunch buffet is very good and clean. The pizza is very good.

As an over-the-road truck driver, finding a good pizza joint is like finding a hidden treasure. Well, Chicago's Pizza in Plainfield, IN is that treasure! After a long haul that felt like I was driving through a never-ending maze, I decided to treat myself to some pizza, and boy, was it worth it. The pizza at Chicago's Pizza is so good, it should come with a warning label: "May cause extreme happiness and spontaneous dance moves." I tried the deep-dish, and it was so delicious, I almost called my dispatcher to tell him I was taking an extended break. The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was gooey, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It's the kind of pizza that makes you forget all your road woes. The staff at Chicago's Pizza are as friendly as can be. They welcomed me with a smile and even offered me a free soda for the road. The service is quicker than a trucker spotting a rest stop after 10 hours of driving. The restaurant is clean and cozy, making it a great spot to relax for a bit. Now, let me tell you about some funny trucker hijinks involving pizza. I once had a delivery of frozen pizzas to a grocery store. Everything was going smoothly until I realized I had taken a wrong turn and ended up on a narrow country road. As I tried to maneuver my truck, I accidentally hit a bump, and a few boxes of pizzas slid off the pallet. When I opened the back, it looked like a pizza party gone wrong – pizzas everywhere! I spent the next hour cleaning up and trying to salvage what I could. At one point, I was knee-deep in pepperoni and cheese, and I thought, "Well, this is one way to get your daily steps in!" Thankfully, Chicago's Pizza has ample parking space, so no need to worry about any pizza disasters here! And here's a joke for you: Why did the pizza maker go to the bank? Because he needed some dough! If you're ever in the area and need a delicious meal, Chicago's Pizza is the place to be. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a happy trucker belly!

We thought we would try this place since it was down the street from our hotel, We are from out of state & this pizza is the best pizza we have had in a long time I’m glad we choose this place. it was just the right amount of toppings and grease and it was hot and fresh and the pick up time was fast, great place!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a deep dish here for dinner. I'm a big eater, but we had to get a carryout box because there were a couple pieces we just couldn't take care of at the table.

We ordered Chicagos through DoorDash. Our order was incorrect. I imagine that the dasher just grabbed the wrong order - not Chicagos fault. I called the restaurant to let them know we had received the wrong order and spoke to a manager working the evening of 2/20. He let me know we could come pick up our order which wasn’t an option or he could refund the order. I asked for a refund. The refund that came was only partial - again, I blame DoorDash for that. We did however receive edible and delicious food that was more than we ordered. Overall we came out on top I feel. The food was delicious, and I appreciate that the manager was willing to offer the refund. We received two large pizzas and a full order of breadsticks and paid 17. We hadn’t had them in years, and maybe next time we’ll just dine in, but honestly impressed by how fresh and delicious the food was.

The server was very attentive, and made sure that our drinks were filled without having to ask. The pizzas tasted delicious when served fresh and hot from the oven. We had forgotten how delicious the pizzas were until we ate in the restaurant last night. The Garlic Cheese Pizza is the perfect appetizer because it is so cheesy. The Buffalo Chicken Deep Dish Pizza was spicy, and the dough seemed a bit less doughy and crispier than usual. Extremely delicious.

I ordered my pizza off DoorDash. That was my mistake. Should have known. I asked for a refund. A FULL refund because they didn’t give me my food. They wouldn’t let me. Sooo I called to complain to Chicagos. The lady on the phone was very nice. She gave me a new meal for free and said she would complain to them too. 100% best place to go for the best food and the best service!!
